Sulmondo is an independent Italian design studio. Working between collectible design, craftsmanship, and advanced manufacturing, the studio creates sculptural yet functional objects through the combination of innovative materials and traditional making techniques.

Inspired by everyday life, engineering, and nature, every piece is researched, designed, and produced in the studio’s workshop as a limited edition or unique work. The result is a collection where experimentation, material honesty, and Italian craftsmanship come together in a simple and authentic way.

  • Yes. While digital fabrication and advanced technologies are part of the process, every object is finished, assembled, and refined by hand in our workshop, making each piece slightly unique.

  • Our work explores a wide range of materials, including carbon fiber composites, brass, leather, wood, resins, and other industrial and natural materials selected for their technical and aesthetic qualities.

  • Yes. Most Sulmondo objects are produced in small series or as unique pieces. We believe scarcity allows for greater experimentation and a closer relationship between maker and object.

We combine design thinking with hands-on expertise in advanced manufacturing and craftsmanship to bring ideas from concept to production.
